Background

Rudolf Baumann-Hauser

After getting my degree as a civil engineer, I worked as a self-employed entrepreneur and as an employee for various planning, consulting and executing companies specializing in civil engineering in Switzerland and abroad.

From 1982 until 1994 I worked as the head of project management in civil and environmental engineering in an international company for general planning, project development and project management.

Subsequently, I worked in my own company, Baumann Partners GmbH, as a project manager in construction, energy and environment for ten years.

As of 2005, I was head of the energy section within the Office of the Environment and Energy of the Canton of Lucerne (uwe).

Once I retired, I founded the sole proprietorship Baumann Consulting Lucerne in June 2014.

 


Throughout my private and professional life a number of trips and stays abroad have expanded my horizon in regard to different cultures and lifestyles. To this day, traveling is one of my greatest passions.

  • 1988-1989: Postgraduate degree in Corporate Management of International Trade, EIAB, Basel
  • 1990-1992: Postgraduate degree in Environmental Sciences, University of Zurich
  • 1995-1996: Training as Process Consultant for Communities at the Frey Akademie in Zurich
  • 1999-2000: Postgraduate course in Purchaser Competence and General Management in Civil Engineering, Zürcher Hochschule Winterthur
  • 2001-2003: Postgraduate degree in Services Marketing and Management, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts

On-going: Various part-time further education: export manager, project management, languages, human resources, claim management, change management, mobility management, sustainable building, regional development, residential development, market development for electric mobility etc.
